Find your way around
Section titled “Find your way around”After you sign in you land on Monitoring Overview, which lists every website and server you monitor with its current status.
Each menu in the top bar marker 1 opens a list of pages:
| Menu | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Monitoring | The overview, Add a Test, Bulk Add Test, Bulk Actions, Monitoring Profile, HTTP Headers, Quick Test and Setup Instructions |
| Report | Uptime and performance reports, and the public reports you share with your visitors |
| Contacts | Who receives alerts and how: email, SMS and push contacts, notification templates and the notification history |
| Maintenance | Planned maintenance windows that pause alerts and are left out of your uptime figures |
| Account | Your account settings, time zone, test usage, SMS credits and subscription |
| Contact and FAQ | The UptimeHawk contact form and frequently asked questions |
On the overview, the status icon marker 2 shows whether each website or server test is up (green arrow) or down (red arrow). Select a website’s name to open its report. The action list marker 3 beside each website, server and test lets you edit, pause or remove it; see Pause, edit or remove a monitor. Setup Instructions and Tips for Monitoring marker 4 open short guides inside the panel.
Use the Filter By boxes and the search field above the lists to show only tests that are UP, DOWN or UNKNOWN, or tests whose URL, hostname, name or notes match what you type.
