Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Password keeps being rejected: sign in to webmail with the same address and password. If webmail also fails, reset the password in the control panel.
- Can receive but not send: check the outgoing server requires authentication with the same username and password, and that port and security match.
- Certificate warning or server not found: check the server name is
mail.followed by your domain, or the name shown in your control panel. If your domain’s DNS is hosted somewhere other than Sheernox, amailrecord may need adding there. Ask support for the value.
