Get started with webmail
Webmail lets you use your mailbox from any browser, on any computer, with nothing to install. Sheernox webmail runs Roundcube and works on desktops, tablets and phones.
Webmail and mail apps set up with IMAP show the same mailbox. A message you read, move or delete in one shows the same way in the others, so you can use webmail at work and a mail app on your phone without anything getting out of step.
Section titled “Sign in”-
Go to webmail.sheernox.com.
-
In Email Address marker 1, enter your full email address, for example
you@example.com. -
Enter the mailbox password marker 2 and select Login marker 3.
The links under the sign-in box open Sheernox Support, these Docs, the service Status page and the Legal portal.
If you cannot sign in
Section titled “If you cannot sign in”- Use the full address. The email address field needs everything, including the part after the
@. - Check the password. Passwords are case-sensitive, so check that Caps Lock is off. The mailbox password is not the same as your control panel or billing password.
- Reset the password. Webmail cannot change or reset a mailbox password. Set a new one in the control panel under Email.
- Check the status page. If the password is right and sign-in still fails, see status.sheernox.com for any known problem, then contact support.

Guides for everyday tasks
Section titled “Guides for everyday tasks”Use webmail on a phone
Section titled “Use webmail on a phone”Webmail adjusts to small screens, so there is nothing extra to install. On a phone:
- The menu button and folder button marker 1 open the left menu and the folder list.
- The round pencil button marker 2 starts a new message.
- Tap a message to read it, and use the back arrow at the top left to return to the list.
For everyday use on a phone, a mail app is usually more convenient because it notifies you of new mail. See Phones and tablets.
Dark mode
Section titled “Dark mode”Select Dark mode at the bottom of the left menu to switch to light text on a dark background. Select it again (it then reads Light mode) to switch back. Webmail follows your device’s light or dark setting until you choose one yourself.
Sign out
Section titled “Sign out”Select Logout at the bottom of the left menu. Always sign out when you use a shared or public computer, and close the browser afterwards.
