Add and manage customers

Each customer gets their own sign-in to your branded control panel and only sees their own websites. Before customers can sign in, give the control panel your own address.

The Add customer form with a notice that customers cannot log in until a control panel domain is configured. Marker 1 is beside the notice's Configure link, marker 2 beside Organization name and marker 3 beside Owner's email.
  1. Open Customers and select Add customer.

  2. Enter the customer’s Organization name marker 2, such as their business name.

  3. In Owner’s email marker 3, enter the email address of the person who will sign in.

  4. Select Add.

If you have not set a control panel domain yet, the form says your customers cannot log in; select Configure marker 1 to set one.

Then give the customer a package: open the customer, select Packages and Subscribe package, and choose one of your packages. The customer can then add websites up to the package’s limits.

The Manage customers list with one customer and its menu open with Manage customer, Impersonate, Suspend and Delete. Marker 1 is beside the Add customer button, marker 2 beside the open menu and marker 3 beside the status and package filters.

Customers lists everyone you host, with their owner, number of packages and number of websites. Filter the list by status or package marker 3. Each customer’s menu marker 2 has:

  • Manage customer: opens the customer’s page, with their Websites, Emails, Packages and Users.
  • Impersonate: signs you in to the control panel as the customer, so you see exactly what they see.
  • Suspend: takes all the customer’s websites and email offline, for example for an unpaid invoice. You can unsuspend them at any time from the same menu.
  • Delete: removes the customer.
