Change your plan
As your site grows you can move to a bigger plan without starting over. How you do it depends on whether you are staying with the same kind of service.
Move to a larger plan of the same service
Section titled “Move to a larger plan of the same service”For example, moving from one Shared Hosting plan to a larger Shared Hosting plan. You can do this yourself at any time from the client portal: find the service in your list of services and choose to upgrade it.
Your websites, email and files stay where they are. Only the plan’s limits change.
Move to a different kind of service
Section titled “Move to a different kind of service”For example, moving from Shared Hosting to a Cloud VPS. This is a migration rather than a plan change, because your sites move to a different platform. The Sheernox team plans the move with you and carries it out.
Open a support ticket and include:
- the service you have now and the one you want to move to
- the domains and mailboxes on the current service
- any time when the move must not happen, for example during a sale or launch
Move to a smaller plan
Section titled “Move to a smaller plan”Open a support ticket with the service and the plan you want. It helps to include your current disk use and the number of websites and mailboxes you have, so the team can check they fit the smaller plan.
